What I love most about animation is that, despite the momentous advances in technology, it remains, at its core, a simple, yet humbling process. With the complexities of modeling, rigging, lighting and compositing striped away, we are left with one basic fact: We know at a gut level when it is right. I am still intrigued by the simplicity of good animation and humbled by the effort required to achieve that simplicity. -Scott
